Back in the days of our youth, we discovered a technology used in the food industry that we have found extremely beneficial in our conveyor systems. The Vandergraaf Drive is a self-contained motor and drum that, when compared to a standard conveyor motor and drum, has the following benefits:

Less maintenance: Since the whole drive is self contained, there is no need for lubrication or for keeping an inventory of replacement parts. No inventory means that you can save the money that would have gone towards spare parts for something else.

Improved safety: An enclosed system means that there are no moving parts that could catch fingers or noses.

Washable: Although it won’t fit in your washing machine, it is indeed a washable machine! This feature means that you can keep it clean and pretty for facility tours as well as stop worrying about contaminants clogging the motor.
